Positive Bodies Programme
Restoring the body to balance
Positive Bodies is a combination of Pilates exercises and techniques drawn from a range of somatic practices, aimed to enhance overall well-being and give constructive solutions to help improve the important relationship between you and your body.
Pilates is an exercise method, which shows visible physical benefits of improved posture, elongated and strong muscles, better balance and coordination. The Positive Bodies programme develops these techniques, to address how the body and mind are linked and how symptoms such as anxiety, irritability, stress and fatigue can be alleviated.
One to one
One to one sessions are an ideal way of targeting your particular needs. With fifteen years of experience working with clients with a range of needs from postural issues, injuries and body trauma to physical disabilities, I have developed techniques to not only rehabilitate and provide physical support where needed, but to also work on rebuilding the connection between the mind and the body for complete well-being.
I tailor the number of sessions according to specific needs and provide free consultation to discuss the best way to work with you.
My client base has been with dancers and choreographers, such private clients as Lucian Freud and Rosie Thomas and companies including the BBC and Scottish Government.
